The DDC ClearTECH Enhance is a small form factor real time video image enhancement board that improves the quality of existing sensor suites. Many IR/CCD/CMOS sensor natively provide 12 - 16 bits of useful data. However, almost all systems throw out all but 8 bits through their AGC process. This results in images that have unnecessary over saturation and underexposed areas - reducing your visibility into key situations. DDCs LAP, filter, and image stabilization algorithms are a differentiator and plugs the best possible imagery back into the video lineup.
